Michelle Birch is an experienced technology and operations executive who has spent her career leading through change. With more than 35 years in technology and over two decades in operational and executive leadership, she brings both depth and calm to the complexity of growth and transformation.

She began her career as a software developer, drawn to technology’s potential to solve real-world problems. That curiosity — and a constant drive to improve systems, teams, and experiences — has guided every step since. Over the years, Michelle has built and led high-performing organizations across public and private companies, pre- and post-IPO environments, and industries from telecom to insurance.

Today, as the Founder & CEO of BirchLeaf Advisory, Michelle partners selectively with executives and leadership teams navigating growth, complexity, and change. She’s known for her grounded presence, strategic clarity, and ability to make progress feel achievable — even in high-stakes environments. Clients describe her as steady under pressure, direct without being harsh, and committed to helping leaders and organizations grow with integrity.
